We are unashamedly pro-growth and know that we need to deliver new homes and jobs in the town to help support the economy and to make sure we have the funds to invest in public services. WE are working in lockstep with the Government to deliver for the town, and were delighted to get mentions in the recent Spending Review, with the Government committing to housebuilding and investing £20m in Penhill. We have invested in bringing back the Inward Investment team, cut by the Tories, and have already seen the benefits with new jobs announced by STARK, Tekkever and more. It is great to be bringing back manufacturing jobs to the town as part of our Build a Better Swindon mission.
